A simply delightful evening with princess Aurora!

On Saturday (12th December 2015) yours truly experienced a delightful evening at the Australia Ballet’s production of Sleeping Beauty – the finale to the 2015 season - “A year of Beauty”.
From the very outset, I should make it clear that although I have enjoyed ballet from my childhood ranging from the few lessons I had and the old black and white movies at the British council, to periodically attending performances, I could only profess to be a lover of the art form and in no way an expert on the subject.
If a picture painted a thousand words then a performance paints a million!

This was a new production by David McAllister. Everything apart from the music and Choreography was started from a blank canvass.
As someone who made a modest donation to the production, the Australian Ballet pleasantly provided continuous updates over the 2 or so years of it’s production. The creation of the costumes from some of the initial draft drawings were mesmerising and indicative of the strength of the creative team. Beauty was splashed all over the production.
However, bringing this to reality on stage, is a far greater challenge and in the few spare moments when I might have thought of it, it did create a sense of anticipation.
The Australia Ballet's new production of Sleeping Beauty.

From the moment one sat in the auditorium, it was hard but to be engulfed in the grandeur and creativity starting from the curtains, enticing you back into the time and place of the fairy tale.
There were many surprises along the way – the costumes were spectacular the sets including the chandeliers were brilliant, the rose bed fit for a princess and the dancing was, although never the strength of the Australian Ballets productions, was good too.
But the most delightful surprise was princess Aurora herself – played by Benedicte Bemet.
I do not remember when I first noticed her presence on stage, but it must have been pretty close to when she join the company (which I believe was 3 years ago). When I first noticed her, she didn’t appear to have the best technique nor was she in any role of significance, but her enthusiasm and involvement in the moment made her shine. One could almost follow the whole story by simply watching the expressions on her face. It had become a practice to find her amongst the Corps de Ballet. For one who as a child, had eyes for only the male dancers – the likes of Nureyev and Baryshnikov - this was quite a change.
I have always thought she was a touch (dare I say it!!) bottom heavy to really become a technician of the art form. But then a few months ago, at a performance of 20:21, I remember thinking to myself that she had “toned” her legs and I thought of it no further!
As usual, even this evening, I tried spotting her with the Coryphées and and Corps de Ballet (sometime over the last 3 years, she must have been promoted to the Coryphées) but did not spot her. And then she made her appearance as princess Aurora! It took me a couple of seconds to recognise that it was in fact her and my reaction was WOW!! (As usual the opera house had run out of the production information sheets just at our door of entry, so we had no idea who was in the cast).
To add to this, Amber Scott – my favourite principal, was dancing the role of the Lilac fairy. The other dancer I love watching is Chengwu Guo. He had not made an appearance in the first Act. Could it be that he was the Prince?!!! Now that would be absolutely puuuuurfect!! My favourite three Australian Ballet dancers playing the three key roles!
Amber Scott and Chengwu Guo

Alas, it was not to be - Chengwu played the blue bird and displayed his technical skills brilliantly.
But let’s get back to the star of the evening -  Benedicte. Being as young as she is, fitted the role in every way. When the first famous balancing sequence approached, I could feel myself tense up for her. She managed to get through it unscathed! But when the second sequence arrived, she absolutely “nailed it”(pardon the technical term) and as she swapped her partner for the final time, she even held the balancing pose for longer than required, almost as a display of her prowess, which had the younger members of the audience simply burst out uncontrollably with applause. She was able to draw this applause again during the pas de deux during the ball for the wedding.
The Australian Ballet used Benedicte as Clara in the poster for the Nutcracker in the 2014 season.  But it turned out that she performed the role in Melbourne (I’m a little confused about this as one of the Sydney reviews seem to suggest she played Clara). In Sydney (at least in the performance I was at), it was played by the new Principal Ako Kondo. A bit of a disappointment for me, not a reflection of Kondo – who is arguably a better dancer, but more due to the anticipation I had built up prior to that performance.
But maybe in the end, the reaction of “WOW” was due to all of this happening – missing out her performance as Clara, the opera house not having the information sheets (it might not have been the same if I knew she was playing the role). The delightful surprise was all worth it!
What’s best is that I can look forward to seeing Benedicte, Amber and Chengwu continue to perform key roles in the Australia Ballet productions until one of them decides to stuff it all up by either retiring or moving to another company!

Put together, the feeling of deja vu when the music for Carabosse and her rats sent shivers down my spine as it had done when I was a little 8 year old kid engendering nightmarish images in my mind (music that I had probably not heard for a couple of decades), the sheer beauty of the sets and costumes and the happiness of witnessing a young ballerina blossom – the ingredients for a simply delightful evening!

Is Bishop the quintessential Blonde Bitch . . . ummm, I mean Bimbo?!!

Sorry, just using her own parlance! Maybe it’s acceptable for a woman to call another a bitch in parliament, but people do get their knickers in a knot when a guy uses the term on a woman. So, let’s leave aside the Bitch and focus on the Bimbo!
The Bishop and the Bitch!
There are a few of aspects relating to Blonde Bimbos that are undisputed.
  1. Most of them, aren’t blonde
  2. They are blonde, because when viewing through Western societies’ lenses, Blonde is sexy and sexy is good - gets you further in life!
  3. As they are usually operating at a level of incompetence, they are susceptible to many a gaffe!
Julie BishopJulie bishop full
OK, I’m no expert on hair colour, but she sure does have dark roots(pardon the pun!!) and that is as far as I will take that part of the discussion.
Bishop has undoubtedly had a privileged upbringing and has clearly leveraged her sex appeal (and possible blondeness) to good use – a classic case of “nice from far, but far from nice”! Through-out her life she has been the show-pony, at Clayton Utz, even attending Harvard (do they select on sex appeal?!)! Apart from being the blonde show-pony, she had all the tick boxes checked!
Despite all of this, this is a woman that the “Fiberal” party never see as leading them. Yes, she’s great to have as the side-show glamour chic, but not the the front and centre leader. To her credit, she has clung on to many a court tail, swapping beds as required to maintain her role as the show pony.
When the PM was away in Paris, recently, the Bimbo was in charge! There were just two matters that the Bimbo had to address and in true neo-con, Liberal style, the Bimbo simply gave inaccurate facts (Aussie media is incapable of holding our politicians accountable, they simply pass on the drivel that the politician excrete.).
  1. The contribution to the Climate fund
  2. The phone call she was involved in with Morrison and Turnbull
On the former, Australia burdened by Climate change sceptics and introverted selfish drivers,  has been dragged along kicking and screaming in to the conference in Paris. Turnbull has shown circus like skills in juggling the various Looney views of his party and still presenting a half-respectable front at the conference (although continually being shown-up as a spoilt, selfish, climate change pariah, in all the papers being presented). Being the largest Island in the world, it’s going to be awhile before Australia is under water, so Australians are completely inept in their ability to understand all the fuss!
When pointed out that Australia’s commitment to the Climate fund was a re-allocation from the Aid budget rather than new funding, Bishop towed the party line of admitting that (somewhat a surprise as the “Fibs” usually simply lie and move on -  Malcolm obvious decided not to lie on this matter). But rather than stop at that, Julie could not help, but add some farcical lies about how “that is what the leaders of the island nations wanted”!!!
Unfortunately, once again, we were in Bimbo territory. Which pacific nation would say to Australia that they should not add more funds, but simply divert the aid budget to climate change?! What is worse is that the Aussie media simply listened and broadcast this drivel – no questioning or even more appropriately ridicule, what-so-ever!
The second matter was in relation to her “Lady Macbeth” like role in the leadership shenanigans. Clearly Abbotts and Bishop’s recollection of the events are poles apart. At least one of them is fabricating stories and most probably they are both. The Australian public almost expect this of their Fiberal politicians. Strangely enough, not so from their Labor party representative – remember the Gillard big lie – Carbon Tax?!

The Bishop knives the Abbott.
Some of Ms Bimbo’s explanations for her conduct between February 2015 and the spill were simply torturous to listen to. Every other word was a fabrication.
Bed hopping deputy.
More recently we had the hilarity of the swapped missing islands!
Another Julie Bishop Bimbo moment!!
Even then, Ms Bimbo had the audacity to blame that insensitive stuff up on the Labor party!!! On the direct competition front between the bimbo and her Nemesis, Plyberseck, it’s 2 to zip on my count!
Of course, We are well versed with the “Fiberals” attitude to the endangered pacific Islands.
We love our Islander neighbours!
Bishop was the beneficiary of the missile attack on MH370. This was the puuurfect opportunity for Abbott and Bishop to gain some popularity back home through some sabre rattling on the global stage. The dreary black suited politicians just loved having the spunky blonde amongst them. So whilst Australia may have lost a few lives, they did the most sabre rattling. Accusing Putin and threatening to “Shirt front” (I must admit, it was not purely the Russians that dived into that Oxford dictionaries attempting to understand the exact meaning of the phrase, yours truly was quite mystified too!) another global leader for what was clearly an error, whether it be by the Russians or any other party. This was one instance where the term collateral damage was possibly excusable.
Abbott had his 15 minutes of glory and Bishop, maybe 25. But pretty much everything Australia did during that period was a complete stuff-up – either a bit pre-mature or based on completely wrong information. The world leaders to it for what it was – a marketing spiel targeted at domestic politics.
Aussies love their blonde chics. So, it’s not surprising that the media has not shown-up Bishop for what she is. Bitch? Bimbo? both? – that is for each of us to decide. Blonde? – that is for each us to guess – Yours truly thinks not!

The future is in great hands!

Just as you give-up hope on a generation of device glued gamers and YouTubers… then comes along Jake! A well-rounded individual of brilliance and a touch of class! I’m sure Jake is not the sole representative of his generation.

Jake’s particular circumstances may be extraordinary. It is hard to view this video other than through a lens reflecting his situation, but that is precisely what we should not do. The speech was written much earlier and would always have portrayed the same messages.

Listening to Jake, one couldn’t help but think that this was not simply a young man who had collected some great quotations and cobbled together a speech. It was a young man who truly believed in the core messages that he was presenting and lives by them. He did not come across as a know-all, arrogant teenager that we are all too familiar with. He appeared considered, consultative and deeply respectful of the environment he was in – the school and it’s rich heritage, the old boys, the teachers and of course, his cohort of students.

The future is in great hands–Jake Bailey, Head Monitor Christ Church Boys High School

The speech is overflowing with invaluable messages to us all and especially to his and later generations – a must see for all teenagers. Most of these obvious to the listener. But there are also some less grandioso but nevertheless touching moments in the video

Just prior to Jake commencing his speech, as the mic is being setup, the principal reassuringly pats him on the shoulder and exhales – a natural human release of tension, an unguarded moment sneaking through the brave facade being presented by all – clearly a reflection of the thoughts, the emotions and the “battle” going on in the principal’s mind. He pats him again at the end conveying a gratitude from all present and now, the many millions that have viewed this video.

The Haka, although somewhat contrived, is symbolic of the level of integration of the original inhabitants of NZ – the influence, appreciation and uptake of this culture, rich in symbolism. Where Australia has failed dismally (except when it is commercially beneficial). The very fact that the Kiwis would naturally resort to a Haka in such a poignant moment simply adds many layers of colour to their national identity. The inclusion of an indigenous welcome in his speech. The youthful handshake at the end – uplifting!

The singing of the school song that appeared to be completely spontaneous – Altiora Peto. (See the full video).

I refuse to associate sadness with Jake. Although I am grateful (to whom, I’m not sure) that the prognosis for him, may be quite positive. We should all simply celebrate what Jake represents – a generation of brilliant, idealistic young men!

“Some achieve in a few years what others may aspire to in a lifetime.”

For many a parent of teenagers, including yours truly, who are troubled, confused and battling the age of body technology, gaming and tubing, who rarely get the pleasure of encountering young men with the qualities of Jake, this is truly inspiring and liberating. His generation, is well prepared to right the mess that our generation and previous have created and left for them.

It is a generation that sees through the colour of peoples skin and their religions.

It is a generation that truly values diversity, egalitarianism and liberalism.

It is a generation that is not obsessed with petty minded selfish materialism at the exploitation of others.

It is a generation that is truly global, rather than tribal, nationalistic or divided by religious belief like their predecessors.

It is a generation that will blast through the problems that we have created in regions such as the Middle East and our environment.

It is a post imperialist generation, with holistic human values unrivalled by any previous – Altiora Peta

The change has already started in Canada with the election of a Prime Minister that in many ways is closest to representing the value set of this generation. It didn’t really take much to have equal representation of men and women or substantive representation of minorities in a government – simply a genuine belief in what was best, fair minded and right. This could have been achieved anytime in the last 3,000 years of democracy, but

“previous generations have been myopic small thinkers, constrained by their own narrow minded view of humanity, self interest, tribal instincts based on race and religion.”

Stuff the crude, racist, crusader heroes of the past, I say – Churchill and Bush are simply a pedestal for the Jakes of the future.

“The future is indeed in great hands!”

Holocaust, Holocaust, Holocaust I screeem!!

I scream Holocaust from every roof top because the word needs to be liberated! It’s a word that since WWII has been completely stifled and monopolised by the Jews. So much so that if used in any other context, it is considered offensive!!

As was recently witnessed, when the former captain of Team Australia – a complete puppet of Israel – got his nickers in a knot over the use of this word!

Abbott’s Holocaust gaffe–courtesy of Youtube

The strength of the Jewish lobby has even resulted in a sub-definition of “The Holocaust” being included in the oxford dictionary which refers specifically to the horrendous atrocities inflicted on the Jews in Europe. Clearly this would not have been the case prior to WWII.

It is also interesting that at the very time that the Jewish holocaust was taking place, there was another, of equal devastation (6-9 million) happening in India – Churchill’s Holocaust on the sub-humans of Bengal through wilful starvation. One that very few, if anyone, are aware of or cares about. There were some differences in that they were not murdered with bullets or guns but simply allowed to starve to death on the streets by taking away their food and diverting it to feed the rich fat Englishmen and their armies fighting in Europe. Effectively, they were robbed of their food and left to starve.

Churchill’s Holocaust–The Bengal famine.

Of course Western nations prefer to be ignorant of the crimes they committed as Winston Churchill (A recent prominent leader of the SuCs) said of the event

“I hate Indians. They are a beastly people  with a beastly religion. The famine was their own fault for breeding like rabbits”

and when the Delhi government sent a telegram painting a picture of the devastation

“Then why hasn’t Gandhi died yet?”

So much for the heroes of the SuCs! – all note worthy causes for being awarded the Nobel prize for “defending exalted human values”!! Clearly some humans have more value than others and sub-humans have none what-so-ever!

Winston-Churchill and the Beastly rabbits

Here are some of the other Holocausts that purely due to the victims being non-whte, non-christian sub-humans, have not really been on the radar.

- Hiroshima and Nagasaki

- Killing fields in Cambodia

- Guantanamo Bay

- Palestine

Who are the GuSWhiSuCs?!

The name GuSWhiSuCs (in short, the SuCs pronounced “Sooks”) comes from the GUngho-Saxon-WHIte-SUpremacy-Crusaders. This is simply a collective noun used to describe a group who otherwise don’t have a collective noun, much like the term Al Quaeda or Daesh.

The SuCs are of Anglo-Saxon heritage and have controlled the world for a near 300 years. Their power is based on military might and they have a rather Gung-ho approach to most things, particularly when it comes to demolishing other civilisations and people around the globe – thereby Gunho-Saxon

They strongly believe in White Supremacy and maintaining the power balance to ensure that Whites do continue to control the world and they use their religion Christianity to justify the horror that they spread through-out the world.

They have maintained a thousand years of Crusades against the Islam religion and continue to do so.

In their modern manifestation, the three main contributors to this group are the British, USA and Australia. There are only 2 other nations who are Anglo Celtic dominated – NZ and Canada – who have shown a dislike to the gung-ho mentality of this group, and to-date have refrained from joining the crusader expeditions of the group.

The term SuCs suits them well, as they mostly engage in wars in other countries, using military weapons that are vastly superior to their enemy – weapons that are fired from miles away, ensuring that none of their personnel are in danger. They use their slaves (Ghurkhas, Israel, the Iraqi and Afghanistan governments etc.)  to perform the dangerous work.

In their on-going pursuit to maintain their power and enforce their value set, they are usually in direct conflict with the UN and the more considered nations of Europe.

The horrors caused by their actions are mostly experienced when the pleb SuCs elect mad hatter right wing leaders.

In their minds, they are the protectors of the universe and there is just one and only one god – their god all mighty – ALLELUJAH!!

This is not to say that every one of Aglo-celtic decent belongs to this mob a vast many do not. Nor is it unusual for a regime to cling on to their power by performing atrocities – we have seen this from time memorial – Greeks, Romans, Mongolians etc. Nor is it possible to say that the next “super” power will be any better.

It’s just that they have been fortunate to be in power during the period when power became truly global. It has also been a period when human weapons reached a point where we can destroy the whole world in a matter of seconds. Therefore it will take longer for power transitions to take place. WWII did dismantle some of their strangle-hold with close to 7 billion of their slaves finding freedom.

The Economy and population have now become the new nuclear bomb. This will really shake the mob up. So will the domination of the SuCs be coming to an end?!!!

Are Dumb and Dumber leading the Australian Cricket Team?!

A few months ago (say during the ashes test series), if you asked the question, who are the dumb crickets in the Aussie team (or in the world, for that matter), it is very likely that most would have included Steve Smith in that list. Then if you followed that up by asked the question, who would you consider to be dumber, then undoubtedly, most would have included Warner! – get my drift?!

One might argue that if Steve was on the list, so would everyone else on that ashes tour – Khawaja was not on the team then. Fair argument. It’s not that everyone knows that Steve is dumb, it’s more that we don’t know that he isn’t, we usually classify all Aussie cricketers dumb and he mostly appears to be an amicable, naive country bumpkin, to whom there was nothing more to life than smacking a cricket ball around the park.

It is disconcerting when Cricket Australia (CA) appoints as skipper, a player that hasn’t even been a certain selection in the team just a few months prior to his appointment.

This has happened before, but usually when there is some wise ole’ sage with years of cricket experience backed by a degree in nuclear physics from Cambridge! Appointed for their brilliance in strategy and leadership – a la Mike Brearley changing the course of a whole ashes series!

Smith was selected as a bowler and didn’t really get to bowl and then to the relief of CA scored a gazillion runs in the most whimsical manner (I used to think it was an embarrassment that Australia would have to resort to players with such atrocious batting techniques, in the test arena).

“Place-holder for Smith’s crazy shots video!!”

To their credit (I think?!#$%), CA backed this kid, just as they had done with other “untouchables” like Hughes – untouchable only because they would be given all the easy opportunities to cement their places whilst their competition would be given the real tough conditions to fail – thereby justifying CA’s decisions – Khawaja being one of the victims – it’s great to see him flourish now that he has finally been given the opportunity to play on conditions that he is accustomed to – an opportunity to succeed.

The timing has been great for Steve, The schedule appears to provide him a lengthy honey-moon period with the initial test series being against Bangladesh, NZ and the West Indies. NZ could have been a competitive affair if they had played on more reasonable pitches with some time acclimatise to them – rather than the Blacktown paddy-field debacle (since when did touring test teams play games in Blacktown?!!! – we will be accommodating them in Blacktown too! – close to the grounds, you see!).

For a nation that likes to whinge about other nations’ pitches, the Blacktown debacle was a real doozy!!

The GABBA and WACA (arguably the worst test pitch on earth) are real gimme’s for the Aussies – no other country really wants to play on them. The third test in Adelaide, where there might have been some competition will be the “pink ball test”!! I doubt any Kiwi, at test level or otherwise, has played with a pink ball!!! So, the CA have mitigated the potential risk of a loss, brilliantly!

But there are some real refreshing aspects to Smith’s captaincy as well. He clearly has not been in the team for long enough to have ingrained in him the typical Aussie cricket culture.

“Having been the lackey in the team, he obviously wasn’t involved in much of the nonsense that Aussie teams are reputed for and proud of.”

I don’t recall Smith ever being involved in any distasteful behaviour on the cricket field or otherwise – unlike his predecessor who was involved in 3 unsavoury incidents and was promptly rewarded by the CA with his appointment as vice captain!!!

Since when has an Aussie player or official (let alone skipper) ever admitted something negative about a team member. It was refreshing to see Smith, in his usual unassuming naive manner say he would have to have a word with his fast bowler after the nasty ball throwing incident!

Smith really does have an opportunity to change the rotten culture of the team. Australia has just played against a couple of teams where the culture is the complete opposite to theirs – England and NZ. Will Smith’s attitude rub-off on the team or will the CA culture override him and bring him into line? – time will tell.

If Smith does bring a change in culture, then it will completely destroy my theory that the reason Aussie cricketers are thugs and louts is because of the low level of intelligence and self-esteem in the team. See, the louts such as Ian Chappell, Rodney Marsh and the many who followed will never be esteemed as gentlemen or role models as is the case with the Sangakaras,Tandulkars, Lloyds or even the Strauss or Gowers of the world – but that’s a story for another day.

I’d rather a well behaved fair minded Aussie team than my theory remaining accurate! Go on Smith – here is your challenge!

Are Australian Company Boards the dumbest?!!

There will be thousands of kids who would be relieved after just completing their HSC this week. Amongst them will be the kids of first or second generation migrants. And a great proportion of that will be Asian migrants – Australians don’t see European (yes, “white”) migrants as migrants at all, migrants are Asian or African.

In a few weeks the results will be published and when one reads the honours list, one tends to have a quick flick to the front page, just to make sure one was reading an Australian news paper (ok, the banner on your web page)! The names will all be Asian with some exceptions of Eastern Europeans.

At the same time, there will be hundreds of boards meeting around Australia and all of them, without exception, will be as white as white can be. Ok, there are some exceptions, where some Asian tycoon has setup a company in Australia.

Several months back, the SMH published some humorous charts on the capabilities of students and their ethnicities “Asian students more likely to be in HSC honours list”.

Whaaaaat?!!! the English are the worst at English?!!!!

Well, that’s not entirely surprising. Which Englishman (or woman) with any intelligence would leave England and Europe to live in Australia?!! As for the Welsh, well, one can excuse them, they have there own insufferable language!

The only reason to question this data is that . . .

. . . apparently the Irish can Add?!!! – that’s gotta be a joke of some sort!

Somewhat questionable, judging the experiences of yours truly!

Apart from that minor aberration, it is undoubtedly the case that the cream of the crop are from Asia. This trend is maintained in universities as well (although it’s harder to get the data), and all the way to lower-middle management. But that is where the infamous “bamboo ceiling” hits. There is little representation in senior management and board rooms.

So the verdict has to be that

Aussie company boardrooms are gatherings of white people who can’t Add, Can’t write English and have no Logical capability!!

The question is, How can this be?!!

The standard white conservative answers to this questions are

1. “it will take time”!

2. Asians lack the “soft skills”

All of them, true. However the latter applies to every race and the first one really depends on the willingness to change.

Q&A recently touched on this issue and the responses of any intellectual substance came from, yes, you guessed it – an Asian and an American!

Q&A discussion on Racism against Asians

Taxi drivers with the highest IQ in the world are in Australia. They are usually Phd qualified from all non-white parts of the world! At least one can have an intelligent conversation while in a cab!

The “It will take time” excuse

Yes, it will take time and it will take even longer in Australia. Remembering that Australia is

“One of only 2 countries that have ever had a codified apartheid regime against coloured – the white Australia policy”

The racism against Asians is deeply rooted in a majority of white Australians. Asians are great when they serve Aussies on cheap holidays and when the pervert oldies want a sex slave for a wife, but otherwise they are either “curry munchers” or “bow legged yellow skins”.

The efficiency argument brought up in the video, simply does not work in Australia. Australia has never been efficient at anything. It is an economy based on digging up cheap minerals and resources out of the ground and selling it to other countries. There simply is no need for efficiency in that.

Due to the small population and the low population density, many foreign companies stay away from Australia rather not compete in this Market. Banks are a classic example. The foreign banks came in when the sector was deregulated, but were mostly gone within 5 years. And so, Australian banks are arguable the most profitable collusion in the world.

And when efficiency is irrelevant, the majority can afford to be racist and suppress the more capable minorities – particularly so when there is an over supply of skills.

Asians Lack “soft” skills

This is another wonderful invention. The definition of soft skills is really skills that are completely subjective. It is purely an invention to make any assessment of skills for a role subjective rather than objective.

As was mentioned in the video, there are many Asians with the so called “soft” skills and capabilities to lead companies in Australia, just as they are doing in Asian countries that will soon surpass Australia.

There is a saying in Australia that

if you wake up in a hospital and the doctors are all Anglo Celtic - then get the hell outa there!

In other words, it is unlikely that there would be doctors or surgeons of Aglo-Celtic decent – it is likely to be a scam of some sort!

The moral of the story is that, in any field where deep skills are required to perform a role, it will be dominated by Asians and non Anglo – Celtics. It is the roles where no skills are required where “soft” skills appear to prop up, and needless to say, these roles are dominated by Anglo-Celtics. This is also the reason that Australia will remain the lucky country rather that the smart country

Asian migration, as controlled as it is, is increasing the IQ of Australia.

So, there is some chance, the Asians will be able to drag Australia out of the deep mines into the Asian century and make Australia competitive and even intelligent. Maybe one day

The Taxi drivers will be leading our companies and the directors driving our taxis!

Maybe that would cause a safety hazard on the roads!

Would the world have been a better place without Bush, Howard and Blair?

Bush brats

Rocco Fazzari.

Roccoco Fazzari

A Response to: An apology for the Iraq war is nowhere near enough (SMH 26th October 2015)

It’s taken over a decade for the public and the journalists of these three nations to outwardly hint that maybe the Iraq war was a right royal stuff-up. When I criticised the gung-ho decisions of the Anglo-Celtic leadership a decade ago, SMH would, duty-bound, sensor my comments and now Blair and Hartcher feel it’s been long enough for the public to be spoon fed the reality.

I refer to this mob as the Gung-ho Saxon, white Supremacy, Crusaders (GuSWhiSuCs - pronounced “sooks” at the end and in short the “SuCs”) for good reason.

What is evident is that

We have learned little in a near thousand years of crusades!

Remember some of the others?! Richard the Lion heart, Bush the Lion Heart, Howard the “I’ll lick ya ass” heart and Blair the “I’m lost for words” heart!

It is a mistake to believe that the whole Iraq crusade was simply an error in judgement due to poor intelligence. It was far more sinister than that. The “Suks” had already murdered close to a million Iraqi children alone through embargos on critical medication on an astonishing pretext that they would be used to create nuclear weapons! A nuclear industry dependent on imported medical supplies!! – now that would be a force to be reckoned with.

The mentality of the pleb “SuCs” is to knowingly accept these ridiculous claims by their leaders, when it comes to justifying a crusade against a seemingly weaker military force. Yes, there were some protestors on the streets of Sydney (including the author), but a majority wrapped themselves in national and white supremacy flags and engulfed themselves in patriotism and pride out of displaying military might and blasting to smithereens an age old “enemy”! It was someone else’s war and someone else was going to suffer from it.

Wars are easy to handle when they occur 10s of thousands of miles away from home.

Yes, a few poor sods come back home maimed or in boxes, but that’s a small price to pay for the pride it gives the pleb “SuCs”. The leaders, particularly the near fascist far right factions, know this well and exploit it - a la Thatcher and the Falklands, Bush and a whole list of dumb wars, Eisenhower and Vietnam. We now don’t even get anywhere near the fireworks – we simply fire missiles from a bunker in a different continent! and as the military general of the SuCs proudly announced on TV

“We don’t count the civilian dead of the enemy, they are mere collateral damage!”

The more considered would say that the “SuCs” engineered the cause for war. The appointment of a gang member – Butler – with the sole mission of creating falsified evidence that would support a war (described well by Pilger). Butler may have made millions by it (and the profits of crime – his book), but it cost 224,000 lives (a number that is grossly underestimated). Butler was appointed simply because the UN’s representative was undertaking a more rigorous approach and the findings just didn’t suit the gang’s leadership – the rest of Europe watched in bewilderment as the blood thirsty pleb SuCs marched passionately to the drums of war!

Whilst it is possible to miss evidence of something that DOES exist, it is near impossible, with any level of competency, to find evidence of something that does NOT!

The very fact that the crusade was launched at all, is evidence that the SuCs were certain that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. True to their name, the SuCs would never have waged war against a nation with such weapons.

Nuclear weapons are the great equaliser!

So, the public’s acceptance of an apology (or non-apology) is just a means of rationalising the war crimes. It is interesting how the journalist have not used the term “war crime” in this instance. Just imagine if this atrocity was committed by Russia or China! Just look at the uproar over China installing some military hardware on some desolate islands! Or, the SuCs inability to accept that the downing of the Malasian Airlines aircraft was truly an example of collateral damage!

The “SuCs” self righteous view of themselves prevent them from accepting that this was a heinous war crime. One that has lead to an unprecedented disaster!

In any case, the SuCs Leadership is well protected against war crimes. The Heads of state cannot be prosecuted. Even though, these very same protections were dismissed and overlooked by the puppet court established by the SuCs to murder Saddam. Yes, murder!!

If the laws of the nation do not allow you to prosecute the head of state and you setup an instrument with the sole purpose of illegally killing somebody – that is the very definition of murder!

Bully boys

Ah! but the SuC chieftains have explained it to the pleb Sucs as “the world is a better place without Saddam” –  Still a response by them when asked if with hindsight, they would have engaged in the crusade. The question we really should be asking ourselves is

Would the world have been a better place without Bush, Howard and Blair?!!

or even better

Who’s done more damage to the world, Saddam or Bush, Blair and Howard?!!!

But that is a question that the GuSWhiSuCs are incapable of assessing rationally!

Thursday 20 August 2015

Uh oh!!! is this the beginning of the end for Waleed Aly?! A matter of white and brown!

I’m sure everyone’s seen the Aly- Price discussion. But what are the implications of Aly’s actions?

It’s not a matter of right and wrong – it never is. It’s a matter of white and brown! As Aly himself has implied before, the Gungho Saxon White Supremacist Crusader (GSWSC) mob will tolerate inferior coloured folks as long as they stay in their submissive little corner and continue making the mob fatter and richer. The last thing they want is a Muslim (synonymous to terrorist in Aussie) to have the cheek of cutting off one of the mouth pieces of the neo-con faction of the mob!

Price would never be able to spa with Aly on the basis of intelligence or knowledge on this or perhaps any issue at all. But with Price’s adoring mob dumbly following him, Aly does not stand a chance! Price will not let it stop here. It is a matter of time before the next salvo is fired.

Aly has usually been very cautious about being confrontational and it’s worked well for him with even some white Aussies being able to appreciate his intelligence. His technique has been to ask questions rather than drum points of view.

But with this action, has Aly stepped too far out of his allocated little corner and will all sanity be wiped-out by the overwhelming tribal instincts of the mob and Aly soon be missing from any mainstream media?!

My prediction is that it will start with some pictures of Aly with crazy twisted facial expressions (Alan Jones like) and possibly a picture with him dressed in Islamic attire and brandishing a machine gun (Saddam like!). C’mon Telegraph, get the creative team on to it – let’s see what you can do!

I guess, time will tell!

Is the Australian electorate the most dumb in the world?!

Australia is widely considered as the “Lucky” country. And the “Lucky” country it truly is. A miniscule population sparsely populating the East coast, a few “rich fat white men”greedily and inhumanely protecting “ownership” of this mineral rich continent.

Many Prime Ministers, mostly Labor, have had visions of transforming the nation from simply being a lucky nation to one that is considered an intelligent equal at the global conference – not simply the arse-end hole in the ground providing resources and canon fodder for the wars of the “real” nations. Hawke referred to the “Clever country”, Keating the “creative” country and Gillard the educated country. All of these are great visions, but has Australia actually achieved any of this?

There are many “scientific” ways of analysing this and many of the indicators suggest that we punch way below our weight on measures relating to intelligence. But lets humour ourselves by looking at it from a perspective that’s never been done before!! – that is from the perspective of the Australian electorate's ability to elect intelligent capable people to lead the nation. The proof of such an assessment would suggest that we are rapidly travelling in the opposite direction to the vision.

In recent times, there have been two rather telling arguments being presented in the media about the quality of the current mob in government.

  1. Is Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott the most incompetent leader of any industrialized democracy?
  2. Is Tony Abbott’s regime the worst federal government ever?

The first argument was presented by none other than a non-Australian think tank focussed on the Asia Pacific region. The assessment of the PM came rather late – many had made this judgement even before Phony was elected let alone a year and a bit after. The Joshua Kurlantzick’s view was a refreshing outsider perspective that cut above the usual blinkered, inward-looking squabbling that one finds in the comments of the Sydney Morning Herald.

What is ironic is that we had the clear opportunity to elect arguably the most intelligent PM that we (or any country) ever had in Malcolm Turnbull, but we declined this. Malcolm is considered un-electable by his own party. Why, you may ask?!! Sadly the answer is that he is seen as too smart for the job!

OK, voting Phony to be the “captain” could be seen as an oversight by the electorate. After all, the electorate does not select it’s PM, it simply elects members of Parliament and it is the Liberal party that choses it’s leader. But the electorate has no excuse for electing the government – that lies fairly and squarely in the hands and mind (however little) of the electorate.

The electorate kicked out one government due to a single so called “lie” for a government that was lies, lies and nothing but lies!! The Australian public have had to deal with so many lies over the last year or so that we are completely insensitive to it – a far cry from where they were when the previous government was in power. Where Australia felt that Julia should be kicked out purely due to a half lie (yes, a half lie because the party had never shied away from a carbon price and whilst a market based system was it’s preference, due to the Green’s, Labor had to compromise and have a Tax/ levy – whatever one wants to call it - for a limited period, prior to moving to a Market base solution), but a tsunami of lies has done little to Phony’s position in the polls.

The sudden change in the electorate’s appetite for lies is obvious. I guess it’s a bit like rain – when there is a drought, even a slight sprinkle is noticed but during a monsoon, we simply don’t care about each shower of rain! Undoubtedly, Phony and his merry men have conditioned the Aussie electorate and are capitalising on the insensitivity of the electorate to broken promises.

The lack of capability of this government to achieve anything visionary or otherwise is astounding – the statistics show that as highlighted in the second article. To the part-time observer, it appears that the government has given up and the individuals are now looking at how they can feather their nests for the future.

Getting back to my key argument, the question has to be asked, who is responsible for electing the worst government led by the dumbest PM? Yes, it is the Australian electorate! Does that not imply that the electorate that choses the worst government led by the dumbest PM - yes, you got it -  must be the dumbest electorate in the world?!!!

Has Iran just signed it’s own Death Warrant?

The possible agreement between Iran and the “Western world” relating to Iran’s nuclear industry is very much in the news right now. The extent of the discussion in the Western media is in it’s usual self-serving manner, limited to whether it’s a good or bad thing for the West and so simply is an argument as to whether the West should lift the trade embargo or simply blast Iran to smithereens.

Looking at it from a different perspective, one has to question how sensible an agreement which would allow the West to inspect the nuclear facilities when ever they should so please, is for Iran! Do you get a sense of deja vous?!

No country that values it’s own independence would ever give into such terms. Countries that understand that the great equaliser in the global power struggle is nuclear power. Countries like India and Pakistan would never have achieved their nuclear status, if they had submitted to the west’s demands. The only real out from continued bullying from the West, is nuclear weapons.

Of course, from the Gangho- Saxon-White-supremacy-Crusader (GSWSC – US, UK, AUS) mob’s point of view, there is a difference between India and Iran (other than the letters following ‘I’) and that is that Iran is in the midst of the crusader battle for the  “promised land”.

The last country that submitted itself into such a controlling regime was Iraq. We all now know where that ended up!

It simply makes the country vulnerable to the opportunistic vultures that are the GSWSC mob. The mob and their Lacky Israel must be licking there lips as they get the opportunity to fully assess Iran’s nuclear capability.

No country in their right senses would declare war against a nation that had nuclear capability. That is why, it was so bleedingly obvious to anyone who was not willing to be duped by the leadership of GSWSC mob that the “weapons of mass destruction”  argument was nothing but fabrication. After the whipping that the mob had in Vietnam, there was no way that the mob was going to take on a country which had nuclear arms. Through their inspections, the mob were absolutely certain that there were no such weapons in Iraq.

When the mob refused to pay attention to the UN officials tasked with the inspections and decide to plonk Richard Butler, a puppet bureaucrat from Australia, who purposely broke the rules of the agreement with Iraq, simply to build a argument for invading the country, any questioning individual had to suspect that there was something fishy going on. The thinking nations of the world held back and let the mob unilaterally invade Iraq. Once buried to their necks in the quagmire, the mob was able to plead for assistance from some of the other western countries.

There are few Australian bureaucrats with any credibility – they simple dance to the tune of their masters. The few who do (a la Andrew Wilkie), give up their careers and are seen as failures or acting against Team Australia. Richard Butler simply wasn’t one of them.

The Australian public’s acceptance of the puppet Howard’s (remember the anti war protest with the effigy of Howard on all fours, licking the Bush derriere) position was a confliction between their sense of fairness against the anti-Muslim crusader mentality of a mob, whose dominance was being threatened from may fronts. As was the case with Nazi Germany (Hitler) and still is with Israel (all the prime ministers of Israel), people conduct atrocities when feeling threatened. Clearly the anti-Muslim sentiment won over any sense of fairness and the brown-nosed puppet won elections even after the continuing massacre of innocent people on the back of a fabrication. As General Tommy Franks so eloquently put it – “we don’t do body counts”!

Of course, as long as the mob are in control of world affairs, we will never see any of the leadership convicted of war crimes, no matter how many millions they may slaughter. Were Bush, Howard and Blair murderous villains who should be convicted for war crimes? Well, the answer to that simply depends on who the dominant power in the world order at the time is.

In half a century from now, I dread to think what Iran may look like. Will it be a delightful potpourri of innovative ideas and ideals, leading the fastest growing religious following or will it be another Iraq?!

Attack the ABC, it’s a great diversion to dupe the mob!

The Fiberals strategist have done it again. This is a display of the “Attack is the best form of defence” strategy at it’s best. The hoo-ha relating to the bias and the questioning on “whose side are you on” of the ABC has worked to a tee. See, the flack has all been directed at the ABC and Zacky Mallah and not one of the mainstream media outlets have addressed the the fascist, racist nature of some of members of the Fiberal party.

Clearly the Fibs’ control centre would have been in a total fluster and in overdrive after the arrogant, fascist, racist behaviour of the Steve Ciobo. A quick look at the party tactics manual and the decision clearly was to go on the attack – divert the focus – fill the media with terror and there is nothing like a Muslim target to enrage the mob.

Most right-wing parties are infiltrated by ultra right-wing, fascists, often referred to as neo-cons, but the smarter parties keep these guys locked away, hidden from the public eye. Bush was no different – his regime was completely governed by the neo-con faction, but he was very careful to keep these fascists hidden – the likes of Richard Pearle, Paul Wolfowitz, James Woolsey and John Bolton. These guys were locked away churning out vile anti-Islam, racist policy with the notion of white Christian supremacy. Hence the Iraq war and the drastic loss of civil liberties over that period.

Ciobo was mostly unheard of before this program (though it’s likely he would have made some vile comments before this) and surprisingly he is an elected member of parliament!!!! Well, not totally surprising, since it was from Queensland (Tasmania might have been another possibility). Whilst this sort of extremists are elected in the US and some parts of Europe, typically they get weeded out in Aussie politics with a few exceptions in the Fiberal party. Clearly the Fibs had been keeping him under cover but  ooooops(!!) the monster was unleashed at the public and we had a real insight to how fascist minds work.

The topic under discussion was threatening some of the fundamentals of a democratic free society including the separation of judicial system and politics, free speech, anti-discrimination and human rights. It appears that the Fibs believe that matters of criminality should be taken away from the courts and given to a single minister. After much argument, with reluctance they have included the right to appeal in a court of law (ridiculous because it will be strange to see even one matter not turn up in court if the “convicted” really does want to maintain citizenship(!) and if they don’t, then it might makes us feel good about taking a strong position, but it really would be irrelevant!). But this would turn our legal system upside down – guilty until proven innocent!

The policy is racist

Clearly this policy is targeted at Muslims or any group that we don’t “like” (which really includes any non-white, non-Christian and to a lesser extent non-Anglo Saxon). It is hard to codify laws that apply selectively to those you don’t like, particularly if you are under the delusion that racism is not an issue in your country and you want to portrait an image of high ideals relating to discrimination. The best way to do it is to simply take it away from the institutions that would have to apply it fairly and non-discriminatorily and let a politician make the call. Then, the decision could be made in anyway that would benefit the party at the next election.

It is also clear that the policy is not meant to target Australians involved in blasting innocent women and children on the beaches of Palestine nor the blasting of millions of Iraqi’s (they are lower level humans anyway).

Apart from the old adage that “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” the very interpretation of the term terrorist is extremely subjective. In Australia we have chosen to use it only in the context of legitimising our discomfort with Muslims. State sponsored terrorism is usually not considered terrorism, particularly if we support it – as is the case with Israel.

The policy is discriminatory

A law that applies only to people with dual citizenship, clearly is discriminatory and ridiculous. How can a law punish someone only if you have 2 citizenships but not if you only have one?! So, if you only have an Australian citizenship and you fight in the middle east, then, we give you special treatment! The number of citizenships one has should be irrelevant to the punishment.

Next we will have traffic fines that vary depending on whether one has 1 or many citizenships! They will be decided by the local member, based on what’s going to get the most votes in the next election!

The separation of the judicial system and politics is paramount

The Magna Carta set some basic principles that have served Australia and other countries well. The separation of the judicial system from politics is one of the fundamental principles. It was to prevent abuse of political power. The whole concept of a member of parliament having power to determine who is a criminal and who isn’t is terrifying – particularly if you are not White and of Anglo Saxon heritage.

The Q&A program proved the value of the Magna Carta. It showed how easily power could end up in the hands of someone, such as Ciobo, who was quite happy and “proud” to take away the citizenship of a Muslim, who had been proven to be innocent of terrorism by a court of law, without the slightest hesitation – don’t bother to get the facts or let the facts get in the way of being a racist.

The question put forward by Zacky was right at the heart of this issue. The point that was missed by most commentators and the public (as they were sucked in to the quagmire of accusations by the Fibs) was that a court found him innocent but Ciobo found him guilty. A court would not have taken his citizenship away but Ciobo would, based on some flimsy accusations by law enforcement agencies. Ciobo simply fabricated a story about the retrospectivity of law (pure fiction, just as the weapons of mass destruction) and decided to find Zacky guilty. Zacky was a bad, bad, baddie, in Ciobo’s mind.

This was a Kangaroo court replacing the Magna Carta – just brilliant!

There are challenges with the concept of treason

Blasting people to smithereens is never the way to solve differences, but the mob is very good at doing it – in fact, possibly still the best at it. However, when someone opposes the mob, it is acceptable to do this by peaceful means only. Fighting against your own country is treason.

The problem occurs when a fascist government decides to go to war against it’s people’s wishes – a la the Iraq war. A majority of Australians did not want a war in Iraq. Most were aware of the lie that was being concocted by the leaders of the mob. If one was a dual citizen of Iraq and Australia and one could clearly see that the government was acting against it’s own people’s will and fighting an unjust war and killing innocent Iraqi’s, then, maybe the concept of treason becomes a bit cloudy.

If Germans decided to fight Hitler in world war II, was that treason? Yes, it was. Was it a crime punishable by death? Yes it was. But was it justice? Now, that’s when it becomes a bit murky.

The problem with treason is that it does not take into account as to who or what is right and wrong – it simply says, are you a member of team Australia! In fact it’s probably, team white Australia.

The Diversion

The Fibs strategy was to divert the discussion from the policy and their fascist MPs by accusing the ABC of bias. The key gripes that the Fiberals and their colluders (including the so called Human rights commissioner!!!) appear to be that

1. The ABC was giving a platform for a “terrorist” – ok an extremist.

2. The question could have been presented by a more “suitable” representative

Zacky may have many unconventional views that are displeasing to the average white Aussie, but he was proven innocent in relation to terrorist involvement. He represents a marginalised, discriminated group that the average Australian dislikes. The ABC allows many people to ask questions particularly those who have personally faced injustice. The questions was a legitimate question and was at the heart of the issue. His behaviour was quite normal until incited by the fascist, racist, vile response of the MP.

Even then, Zacky’s response, although clumsy and misinterpreted for the benefit of effect, was accurate. The on-going attacks on Muslims through racist view points prevalent in the Fiberal party, is a catalyst to further alienating groups that are already marginalised and therefore potentially making individuals more receptive to the calls of hideous organisations such as IS.

Australian governments and in particular the Fibs are in denial about their role in the so called “radicalisation” of a small number of Muslim youth. And as long as their response is purely to look stronger by implementing racist laws targeted at Muslims, under the guise of “security” and saving Australian lives, there will be no change. The evidence suggests that their actions are doing just the opposite – making Australia a target for terrorists.

On the question as to whether Zacky was the right person to represent that point view, who better than one of the few, if not the only person to have been victimised by the Fiberal party through their extreme right-wing laws. Any other person representing this point of view would have been, in the usual fashion, brushed aside and ignored.

The ABC is not anti right wing it is progressive

Recently there have been 3 Q&A episodes that have been amongst the the best. Without a doubt the Fibs have had a battering in these programs. However, it’s not because the ABC is anti-right-wing but because the topics have highlighted some incredibly hostile policy positions of the Fiberals. In the first, we had the argument on the separation of the judicial system from politics and the Fiberal’s personal attack on Triggs – Triggs undoubtedly came out the winner by far. Then we had the Zacky vs. Ciobo debacle. This one was probably a 50-50 as many die hard members of the mob blindly were caught up in the accusations of the government, but the rest of the world was astounded by Ciobo’s crazy behaviour as was highlighted in the third episode by professor Lawrence Krauss.

The ABC is clearly (and fortunately) progressive and intellectual at heart. As such, it isn’t surprising that it is more often in conflict with the Fiberals’ Neo conservative views rather than the progressive views of the left. It is obvious that the ABC does take extra effort to present the right-wing position to counter the continuous attacks they get from the Fiberals.

A pointless beat-up

So there will be a bit of a kafuffle over the next 2 weeks or so but none of the real issues that were highlighted by the episode will get addressed.

1. Upholding the principles of separation between the legal system and politics

2. Addressing the racist policies of an ultra right-wing government that marginalises, isolates and excludes Muslim communities with disastrous outcomes.

It appears that White Australia will uphold the first point, but only for white Christian Australians and remain in denial on the second point. And so, the status quo remains.

Regardless, lets hope the ABC continues strongly as ever. It is precisely when Australia is in the grip of an extreme right wing government that we most need a media outlet for the independent voice!

What is the Christian equivalent of Al Qaeda (IS)?

George Dubya was never rated much for his intelligence but what he did do was to surround himself with a bunch of right wing extremists and along with that went the whole white supremacy Christian thing. So he had a group of intelligent social misfits with dreams of Nazi like power structures of which they would be the top dog.

One of the most brilliant concepts that came out of this group’s propaganda machine was the concept of al-Qaeda! Al Qaeda never did exist – it was simply a term invented by the Gung-ho-Saxon-White-Supremacy-Crusader (GSWSC) mob to create a single entity made up of hundreds (or maybe even thousands) of mostly independent Islamic groups who were resisting the world-wide domination and oppression of the mob.

The marketing ploy worked brilliantly to create a common enemy that could be demonised and scared the bejesus outa the citizens of the three dominant nations of the mob – USA, UK and Australia. The extreme right wing governments (I am still to understand the UK labour party position) in these countries were able to exploit the patriotism of the mob nations to prolong their “rule”!

Whilst prolonging their rule might have been their only objective, what did also happen was that the creation of Al Qaeda did help the hundreds of independent mostly Islamic groups to unify under this banner – something that they could never have managed themselves due to their complete disorganised state and their disliking of each other.

Now, any atrocity in the world could be attributed to this monster – Al Qaeda. At least until some research was done and it was discovered that “Al Qaeda” had nothing to do with it. By the time that happened, the public have usually moved on! We never did ask our governments to justify or explain the Iraq war.

The creation of Al Qaeda also created an avenue by which any crazy disgruntled Muslim youth could now commit an atrocity and wave some black flag with some Arabic writing, regardless of whether they had any association with Al Qaeda and the crusader mob would promptly interpret it as a terrorist act committed by the Islamic extremist terrorist group – Al Qaeda or as they have named themselves – IS (A la the Martin place incident).

Now, you probably wonder what any of this has to do with the headline?!?! Well, the point is that we never seem to aggregate all the atrocities committed by the Gung-ho-Saxon-White-Supremacy-Crusader mob and demonise them as terrorists – nor do IS (apart from referring them to be infidels). There simply isn’t the Christian equivalent of Al Qaeda. One couldn’t  possibly suggest that that’s because the Christians do not commit atrocities. After all the GSWSC has committed and continues to massacre far more Muslims and coloured than IS can or ever will, Christians. One only has to consider the state sponsored terrorist atrocities committed by the GSWSC mob and their puppet – Israel – let alone the recent atrocity committed by a crazy white supremacist in Charleston.

It’s often stated that IS are wining the propaganda war (a questionable view, but a discussion for another time), but they clearly can learn from none other than Dubya and his team of right wing extremists and create this entity to whom all atrocities committed by Christians could be attributed to. The name should have an exotic feel to it – just as Al Qaeda or Daesh.

Aussie Citizens for sale! Is the mad Abbot creating heaven on Earth?!

Maybe our dear leader is smarter than we give him credit for. Just imagine an Australia with only the people that we like?!!! Wouldn't that be the nearest we would get to "heaven on Earth"?!!

Our dear leader has let out another one of his "fart bubbles" (yes, a bit crude may be, but they do have a nasty stench to them and they clearly don't come from a thinking mind!!). Strip people of their citizenships for being freedom fighters, ooops. . . I mean terrorists!!!

Many aspects of this fart bubble are problematic let alone the very basic one of the definition of Terrorism. I'm sure I need not repeat the saying that goes "one mans terrorist is . . . . ". Does that mean that every person who carries out an act of terror on other people will be stripped of their citizenship? Maybe half the teachers in schools, the policemen and undoubtedly the clergy will be on some bright orange boat soon, to some place that will have 'em! Why even my local butcher could terrorise a few people when he wields his sharpened knife! Or maybe a terrorist will be defined from the perspective of the fat rich white men, all members of the Gung-ho Saxon White Supremacy Crusader mob.

It then raises the questions of whether being a terrorist is the worst crime possible and if stripping one of their citizenship is the worst penalty that can be dished out! Or are we now starting a whole new way of dishing out penalties by assigning particular types of penalties based on the nature of the crime, regardless of the severity. Some might argue that we already have that, but really the penalty system is quite simple, it is either financial or a period of incarceration. Yes, I'm all for it! Let's have all the politicians use their creativity to dish out penalties at their discretion - stuff the courts, they were pretty nasty anyway! The politicians should be given turns to be creative.

We now have the notion that there is no trial, it is simply a dictatorial decision by a minister!! Human rights are somewhat over rated and so is the English legal system. This is somewhat like a system that would be suggested by Saddam, Stalin, Thatcher, Reagan or the Knesset (the whole bloomin' lot of 'em). Lets bring in a few more penalties like chopping off ears, tongues, fingers, female genitals, castration - the list is endless and is limited only by the ministers' creativity and imagination. Just imagine, we could spend our week-ends with the kids, stoning a terrorist!! Would beat the state or origin any day!

Human rights have never been a strong point of our dear leader and his team. Nor has it been something that any Aussie really gives a darn about, except when it becomes an issue of their own rights. The mad abbot will have to tread cautiously. He will not want the Australian chapter of the Gung-ho Saxon White Supremacy Crusader mob thinking that it might impact them. But this is very easily avoided. He'll just have to position it as a means to get rid of those radical Muslim types who wear long beards, peculiar head gear, pyjamas during the day and the chics are so modest that not only do they cover their whole bodies in bed sheets but they even cover their faces so we can't perve at 'em!!! That 'll fix it. In any case, many of the chapter would be descendants of others who were stripped of their citizenship generations back - so they will be able to relate to it pretty well.

Once we're rid of the radical Muslim types, we are going to have to find away to rid the others we dislike. As long as we have the chapter comfortable, we will be able to move on to the others - all the bow legged yellow skins - particularly the ones that arrived by boat, all those Niggers from Africa and curry munchers from the sub-continent and of course the abos (who have been a drain on the economy since forever - that will fix the deficit!.

Wow!! This is feeling like heaven already!

There is still one problem outstanding - once we've gathered these terrorists and stripped them of there citizenship, what do we do with 'em? We could put em on orange boats and point 'em in many directions and let them solve their own problem. OK, the stupid UN might create a hoo-ha, but we've never paid much notice to them.

But picture this. . . . A steamy, humid day in some port in a poverty stricken Asian (pacific Island or African) state - say Cambodia or PNG - a fenced off square, in the middle of the bustling town. Some bright orange boats have just arrived. A line of terrorists tortured and chained in impossible positions, shuffle into the ring in their bright orange outfits. They've been sailing for weeks enjoying the party atmosphere of loud music 24X7, water boarding and propaganda. The auctioneers (the Bishop and Dutton) are ready! But this auction is a bit different - it is won by the lowest bidder! Australia will pay any nation to take on these citizen-less terrorists.

The usual culprits are present for bidding. The other chapters of the mob - Uk and US, and of course the poverty stricken countries for whom the payment is split (the auction fee and bribe for the politicians and officials).

The first terrorist shuffles in and the US keenly bid $10 million! UK halves the US bid at $5M. But all present know that these bids are just a show of support from their chapters. The real bidding starts when PNG bids $1M. Vietnam brings it down a further $100k and so it goes on until the final bid of $100 by Cambodia - which wouldn't even cover the cost of travel for the other nations. But guess what, we've got rid of our terrorists and alike at a $100 a pop plus a couple of million as bribes for the officials!!!

Now, it really is the closest thing to heaven!

But Alas! like all his other ultra conservative "fart bubbles" this one will be gone pretty soon. At least some of the team are talking back at the captain and running like mad to ensure they are not associated in anyway to this swill. The captain knows  he no longer has any power. He will give into anything that will keep him as captain and keep the numbers up. I suspect that even our dear leader is beginning to question his own farts!

We can only dream!

Should Australia ever host the cricket world cup?

Well done to the Aussie cricketers, they’ve won the world cup at home! An ACB strategy has come to fruition – we should all be glad.

But the question is, was the world cup a great spectacle, like it usually is? Certainly the new rules made the batting spectacular with heaps of runs and sixes being scored and then there were the tense moments and games such as the noble Black caps win over the crass (let’s have another drink) Aussies and the 20 minutes of torcher dished out by the Pakistani fast bowlers at Watson (if only they could field and catch the sitters!). The magical four centuries in a row by Sanga and the brilliant scores by AB, Gale and Guptil. It certainly had it’s fair share of cricketing excellence on the field.

But apart from the TV watchers, did anyone realise that the world cup was going on in Australia. There’s never been such a boring place to have a world cup than Australia. If not for the Sri Lankans and to some extent the Indians, it would have been such a flop.

Why, you ask

  1. The Aussies insulted their guests both on and off the field
  2. No one, but the Aussies, wanna play on the worst wickets in the world (thanks heavens there were some games in NZ!!)
  3. The locals are crass, racist and ignorant
  4. The hosting cities just didn’t ummmm. . . host!!

My judgement is based on Sydney, as I didn’t travel to any of the other games. So lets consider each point.

The Aussies insulted their guests both on and off the field.

As usual there was a fair share of sledging during the tournament by pretty much all teams, but only in games that involved Australia. It’s a cultural thing. Australians feel that sledging is mental toughness. Not unusual in the world of the Neanderthal. The rest of the world thinks otherwise.

The civilised behaviour of the Black Caps made the yobbo Aussie cricketers “uncomfortable” and “they deserved it“ apparently! So they decided to take it out in the only way they know how. That, in contrast to the impeccable behaviour of the black caps.

Then we had the media getting involved in insulting the most ardent of supporters. Comments about 7-11 store etc. I didn’t hear the joke – if you wake up in an Aussie hospital and you are surrounded by whities, get the hell out of there – it’s not a real hospital! The thing about those Indians at 7-11 stores is that 3-5 years later they are surgeons and engineers (doing the stuff that one really needs a skill to perform, where one can’t be put down as not having “soft” skills).

Darn good thing the Kiwis were co-hosts – at least the overseas guests had some hospitality.

No-one, but the Aussies, wanna play on the worst wickets in the world.

Without a doubt the wealth of Australia shows in the grand facilities available for sport. In some case Aussies feel the necessity for things “bigger and better” – it compensates for a deep rooted inferiority complex they have. But it is the lucky country. We get foreign companies to come and dig the earth and make money and leave some to us. That way we become rich – not dissimilar to the wealth of the Middle East, really. Except the wealth there goes far beyond money, to a rich culture and heritage.

The ACB’s strategy of bouncy pitches has served them well. Apart from a mishap (a Blue on Blue attack - to use a war time “caption” - aren’t we just great at using phrases such as Green on Blue to paint ourselves as superior to others?) that occurred at the beginning of the season, it all went well and the cup was won. One could say the mishap was mere “collateral damage” – the phrase we like to use when we blow up innocent women and kids to smithereens as we march on, un-phased, toward our ultimate goal of greed and controlling of wealth – securing our future, one might call it (and many do!!).

Cleverly, the drop in pitches in Sydney and in particular Melbourne (where the final was) were made more bouncy. Clearly, the Aussie pitches are outliers. Apart from perhaps the South Africans, the rest of the world really would have difficulty playing on them. Some would argue that there is a home advantage where ever the game is played. The reality is different. Most pitches around the world are converging. And whilst there will always be differences, teams have a much better chance of acclimatising elsewhere.

The locals are crass, racist and ignorant.

The Aussies love to look down upon the yanks as being insular, but there is no more an insular nation than Australia when it comes to most things and in particular cricket.

Most Aussies are totally ignorant on cricket, where their knowledge, at best, might extend to the most recent ashes series in Australia. This state of blissful ignorance together with an over inflated view of their own knowledge and their national sides capabilities often results in a rude shock when other teams of “unknowns” smack them in test series (such as the recent series against Pakistan). But unknown only to the Aussie.

Whilst they may be ignorant, there is a win-at-all-cost mentality and an archaic tribal sense to the support base. I attended a couple of games and on one occasion had an Aussie family with a couple of 11 or 12 year olds in front of us. Each time a boundary was scored by the Aussies, they would turn around and give the group behind us a “fist-up” – almost as if they had personally dealt a killer blow! And when they forgot to, there parents would instigate it – “give it to ‘em, mate!!”. Where the group behind, in particular the kids, would look at them quite alarmed. When it was the oppositions turn to smack the Aussies, the group behind would simply dance and cheer their team on! Wasn’t that a clash of cultures (well, I use the term loosely – fist-ups may be considered more un-cultured than cultured, by some!!).

It was a good thing that not many Aussies attended the games. Apart from the few Aussie games, the locals were simply not interested – a good thing for the supporters of other teams.

The host cities just didn’t host.

The cities were completely void of any World cup fever or atmosphere. Sydney just did there usual dreary grind. It was a stark contrast to the Olympics, where the city and the locals really did host the games.

I made the mistake of driving to the first game I attended. The SCG car park was full by the time I got there and it took me almost an hour to travel a short distance on ANZAC parade and get to the Fox studio car park. There was hardly a copper in sight. Not surprisingly I missed the first 45 minutes of the game! Getting out was an even bigger disaster – It was over an hour before we even moved a meter on the 4th floor of the car park. The only concession was that when we finally did get moving the car park attendants had been shelled with so much verbal abuse that they had left the gates open and disappeared! So we had free parking!

That experience was bad, but nothing compared to what occurred when we decided to take public transport. The websites had minimal information on how to use the public transport, although it was free if one had tickets to the game. It was on a week day, so we didn’t get to central station until about 4:30pm. There was absolutely no signage on where or how we were to get the free buses nor directions on how to get out of the station with the tickets for the game. In fact, one could say that if one walked into central, apart from the many people in supporter clothing, one would have been none the wiser that a world cup quarter final was on in the city and this was a key hub in the transport arrangements!

Finally a station attendant informed us that the special bus service had been discontinued and we had to use the standard bus services – he rattled off a series of bus route numbers – not one sign to be seen. No sign suggesting the best place to catch them.

Being familiar with the area (heaven help the foreign supporters), we were able to get to the bus stand. When a bus turned up, I asked if we could travel to the SCG on the bus and was rather rudely advised that it went to Moore Park. Fortunately, I did know where that was and got on. Clearly the bus driver was in no mood to be helpful.

Then someone else, who was clearly a foreigner asked the same question. The drivers response was “did you look at the other passengers, what do you think?”!! That’s crass Aussie hospitality at it’s best!

In general, most of the games lacked any atmosphere. The party was brought to the games by the Sri lankan and Indian supporters. The only Aussie contribution being the odd Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oy, Oy, Oy chant! Do Aussies really know how to enjoy themselves. Apart from drinking themselves silly and punching each other out and being rude or racist to others, there’s nothing much in the form of fun stuff!

Epilogue

Clearly World Cup 2015 won’t be remembered for the great atmosphere nor the hospitality of the hosts. There was some great cricket and some would remember it for the Aussies winning.

The decision for the Man of the tournament was debatable – could anything beat the spectacular run scoring of Sanga?!

BTW what happened to Warner. All that big mouthing before the tournament – did he play?!! Didn’t notice much being said about him!

Unfortunately Aussie sledging is proportionate to their ranking and climaxes when they are dominant (typical symptoms of bully-boys, really), so we are going to experience a few months of absolute crudeness until they play a respectable team on decent wickets.

So, that’s another world cup done and dusted! Here’s until the next one comes 4 years on! Hopefully, the ICC will think twice about ever bringing it back to Australia! Unfortunately money controls everything!
